The present charter (the "Charter") details STRAPX's policy regarding personal data and cookies. The purpose of this Charter is to inform you of the conditions under which STRAPX collects your personal data, the reasons for which this data is collected, the use that is made of it and your respective rights. 3. YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with current regulations, you have various rights concerning your personal data.   • The right to object: The right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation to the processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests. In this case, we will stop processing your data, unless we have a legitimate reason to continue processing your data. 4.2 Data retention period

The length of time we keep your data depends on the purpose for which it was collected. If this purpose is fulfilled, your data will be archived, deleted or made anonymous (in particular for statistical purposes).

Initially, data is kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

If you pay by credit card, the card number and validity date may nevertheless be kept in an intermediate archive for 13 months following the debit date, or 15 months in the case of a deferred debit card, for the purposes of proof in the event of any dispute concerning the transaction.
Subject to obtaining your express and informed consent, your credit card data (with the exception of the visual cryptogram) may be stored for a longer period to facilitate payment for subsequent purchases, without exceeding the time required to fulfil this purpose. In other words, your data may be kept until you withdraw your consent and/or your credit card details expire.

Management of our customer and prospect database

Retention for a period of 3 years from your last contact with us (e.g. for customers, a purchase or, for prospects, a click on a hyperlink contained in an e-mail) or until you withdraw your consent.

Your questions to Customer Service

Retention for the time required to process your request. Recordings of telephone conversations with our Customer Service department are kept for a limited period (6 months maximum) unless an exception applies (e.g. for investigation, fraud or legal reasons).

For recruitment and personnel management

Retention for two years from the last contact with the unsuccessful candidate. If the candidate is selected, the data required for personnel management purposes will be kept, in principle, for the duration of the employment relationship, unless otherwise stipulated by law or regulation.

Secondly, regardless of the retention period necessary to achieve the purpose of the data processing, it may be justified for us to archive your data for a limited period of time, securely and with restricted access, for various reasons:

  • To comply with a legal obligation to retain data (for example, personal data for accounting purposes must be retained for 10 years).

  • To protect ourselves against any liability claims arising from the processing of your personal data. In order to manage pre-litigation and litigation, we may archive your data for evidentiary purposes for the period during which we may be held liable (duration of the related statute of limitations: civil, commercial, etc.).

Once the statutory retention period has elapsed and any legal action has been taken, your personal data will be deleted or made anonymous.

4.3 Data recipients

Your personal data is intended for the STRAPX departments concerned by your requests. However :

  • When you order a product on the Site, the personal data you provide in connection with the order is intended for STRAPX or its subcontractors in charge of executing the said order.

  • The processing of your personal data is authorized to third parties that we use in order to provide certain services. These include :

  • technical, logistics, transport and delivery service providers,
  • customer service and marketing service providers,
  • payment service providers and fraud detection and prevention entities.

  • We may share your data with certain business partners only with your consent.

  • In any case, there is no transfer outside Europe and STRAPX does not transmit your personal data except :

  • If STRAPX is required by a judicial or other administrative authority to disclose information, or
  • If you have given your prior consent to the sharing of this information

In this case, the transfer of your personal data outside Europe will be carried out by implementing appropriate safeguards and preserving the security of your data.

STRAPX may transfer your personal data to judicial and police authorities, regulatory authorities, public bodies or third-party companies in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, summons, search warrant or any other legal or regulatory obligation or request. Such transfer may also be made for the purposes of fraud protection or the investigation of possible offences.

4.4 Data security

STRAPX has taken all reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data it processes, and to prevent it from being distorted, damaged, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties. Technical and organizational security measures have been put in place for this purpose.

STRAPX does not, however, control all the risks associated with the operation of the Internet and draws the attention of Internet users to the existence of possible risks inherent in its use and operation.

STRAPX attaches the utmost importance to the protection and security of its information systems. Tools have been put in place to enable STRAPX to detect possible security breaches. 5. COOKIES AND LOG FILES

5.1 What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file that may be stored in a dedicated space on the hard disk of your electronic equipment when you use your browser to consult an online service. A cookie file enables its issuer to identify the terminal in which it is stored, for the duration of the cookie's validity or storage.

5.2 Cookies issued on the Site

5.5 If you share the use of your terminal with others

6. MODIFICATION OF THE CHARTER

7. PERSONAL DATA POLICY RELATING TO MINORS

The Site is not intended for minors. Access to the Site is not prohibited, however, as it does not contain any content that is forbidden to minors under the age of 18.
